Frequently Asked Questions
Depending on the wavelength of UV radiation, each UV radiation has certain properties. We distinguish the types: UV-A, UV-B and UV-C radiation. We use UV-C radiation in our products. UV-C radiation has a wavelength of 100 to 280nm (nanometer). It is a very destructive radiation for germs such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
These properties make this radiation very suitable for sterilizing rooms and objects. Devices using this radiation clean the air of aerosols that contain germs and viruses, including the corona virus (COVID-19).
UV-C light is a highly effective but dangerous light. The radiation can be harmful to people’s skin and eyes. For that reason, all our products are provided with clear instructions for use.
However, UV-C light disinfection does not leave any residue. No chemicals are used. It is therefore a clean technology and is not harmful to the environment.
