UV-C technology reinvented

Not many people know that UV-C light has been used for decades. That is because until now UV-C light has been used to a limited extent by only a handful of industries, such as in medicine and packaging. Due to the corona crisis, however, UV-C light is no longer to be ignored.

Disinfectant properties

UV-C has a unique disinfecting property and can be used to rid air, water and surfaces of bacteria, viruses and germs.

UV-C light is light with a wavelength between 100 and 280 nanometers. This is a wavelength that does not normally occur on Earth. The light with a nanometer of 265 has the strongest effect against pathogens.

Disinfect without chemicals

One of the advantages of disinfecting with UV-C light is that no chemicals and toxic substances are required. The light also leaves no residue or discoloration behind. Although UV-C equipment should be handled with care when using it, it is otherwise a clean disinfectant.

At BBM Clean Air Solutions we sell UV-C air recirculation systems, where the air is drawn in with aerosols and then guided through the internal UV-C light and then blown back into the room completely (99.99%) clean. We also sell sterilizing devices that sterilize both rooms and objects. Using UV-C technology, these devices disinfect rooms and everything in them. Research from the University of Boston has shown that the use of UV-C light kills 99.99% of germs, including the coronavirus (COVID-19), within 25 seconds.
